The sedimentation of nutrients in the various strata of the slatted floor, has clear consequences when spreading on the field the mineral elements contained in the slurry. The proper agitation makes possible the mixing of nutrients and avoiding of precipition at the bottom of the tank, which decrease its usable volume.
